User Data Deletion Instructions

Share Money users can request deletion of their account data and app data at any time.

How to Request Deletion

  1. Send an email to support@splitmoneyapp.com.
  2. Use the subject line: Delete my Share Money data.
  3. Include the email address, Facebook account name, or contact email used with Share Money so we can identify the account.
Important: deleting account data may remove profile information, expense groups, bills, balances, friend records, notifications, and uploaded profile or receipt images associated with the account.

What Happens Next

We will review the request, verify that it belongs to the account owner, and delete the associated user data within 7 business days unless we are required to keep limited information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
