Share Money helps users create shared expense groups, add bills, split costs, and track balances with friends. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how users can request deletion.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as display name, email address, contact email, and profile avatar when provided by the user or an authentication provider.
- Expense group data such as group names, members, bills, amounts, notes, payment status, and related activity.
- Optional profile payment information entered by the user, such as bank name, bank account, or MoMo information.
- Authentication data required to sign in with email/password or supported OAuth providers such as Facebook.
- Basic technical information needed to keep the app working, secure, and reliable.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage user accounts.
- To display shared expense groups, bills, balances, and friend records to the right users.
- To support sign-in, account recovery, and profile management.
- To protect user data, prevent unauthorized access, and improve app reliability.
Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal data. We use service providers, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage infrastructure, and hosting providers for delivering the app. If a user signs in with Facebook, Meta may provide account information according to the permissions approved by the user.
Data Retention
We keep account and app data while the account is active or while it is needed to provide the app. Users can request deletion at any time using the instructions below.
